Rich without being cloying: an aged rum for backbone, a cream sherry for the round texture, a bitter amaro thread stirred through to keep the sweetness honest. Nutmeg is grated fresh over the top at the table, never pre-dusted, because the oil in a fresh grate is half the drink’s aroma.
Most guests ask for this one when they’ve decided to skip dessert. We don’t correct them.
